Currently limited to iOS and some countries Facebook Live will soon be available to a greater number. With extended support for Android and launch the service in new countries, Facebook Live will soon have enough to shake Periscope.
After sharing our life in words and pictures, it is the turn of the video to be at the heart of social networks. After the arrival of targeted services such as YouTube and Twitch live, it is the turn of more general services such as Periscope Live and Facebook to invite on our phones so that anyone can share his live daily .
Regarding the latter service, it currently covers a handful of users. May in effect live broadcast that subscribers accessing the Facebook social network from iOS, and only in some countries (a little more than thirty at present). In an official statement released on Thursday, Facebook announced that Facebook Live will be available next week on Android.
This feature will be available initially in the United States before being deployed later in the rest of the world. The number of compatible countries should also expand in the coming weeks. No country is however mentioned yet.
When this option is available, it is accessible from the creation of a new status between sharing a picture / video offline and sharing a mood / activity.
